She worked in the library in Telč, where Jiří Mareš used to go. And when Míla needed a suitable model for her paintings, he asked her. She agreed and the meeting with Míla influenced her further life.

"After my first birth I was very ill, I almost didn't survive. Then, during my second pregnancy, Miluška painted a picture of a family with a parish priest carrying a child from the baptism in Kostelní Vydří. There is a big chestnut tree, in front of the monastery, which dominates the painting as the tree of our family's life. During my pregnancy, she painted the branches and finished the painting when my second son was born."
